Per mL Naphazoline HCl 0.1 mg, pheniramine maleate 2.2 mg
Indications/Uses
Allergic or inflammatory ocular conditions accompanied by itchiness & relief of ocular congestion or redness & other ocular irritations.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Hypersensitivity. Temporary enlargement of pupils. Overuse may cause more redness of the eyes. Remove contact lens before use. Heart disease, high BP, narrow-angle glaucoma or urinary difficulty. Childn <6 yr.
Adverse Reactions
Mydriasis, increased IOP.
Drug Interactions
Increased pressure effects w/ maprotiline or TCA. Possibility of severe hypertensive reaction w/ MAOI. Increased IOP w/ agents that stimulate α1- & α2-adrenergic receptors. Urinary difficulty or worsen smooth muscle contraction in the bladder neck w/ α1-adrenergic receptor stimulators. Possibility of severe hypertensive reaction w/ stimulation of β1-adrenergic receptors. Slight increases in blood glucose conc in patients w/ DM.
